Village Enterprise

Non-profit organisation fighting extreme poverty in rural Africa through entrepreneurship and innovation.

Purpose: to partner with governments, nonprofits, United Nations agencies, conservation organisations, and private sector companies, Village Enterprise equips first-time entrepreneurs in Africa with resources and skills to start income-generating businesses and savings groups. This grant is allocated to the Philanthropy Discretionary Bucket, which represents 10% of our annual philanthropy budget and covers topics beyond our main impact strategy.
